I’m building a mobile game using Expo and React Native. By combining FlatList and React Native’s new architecture with the Hermes JS engine enabled, I get ~120 frames per second performance on my old Android phone, even with long lists of components containing text, images and buttons. I didn’t even know my phone went to 120 fps.

DinkyBots
Go and have a look at an early version of the first in a series of games I’ll be creating, DinkyBots. It may seem familiar to some old school gamers 😉 but requires Flash for now. So I’ve provided a download of Firefox Portable with Flash for Windows.

Back in 2002 some colleagues and I built one of the web’s first and most popular online multi-user Flash games, Dinky Bomb.
