Here’s some snippets from an animated music video I created for a satirical website in back in 2016 – featuring a certain US president – at the time just a candidate. The aim of the site was to make fun out of Trump and keep him out of office, which obviously didn’t work.
The track is based on Katy Perry’s Dark Horse and some of the scenes are lifted from the video, where I’ve painted out Katy, replacing her with various animated characters. I was a fun project – even if it failed 🙂
I recently worked with the guys at Imotion Media to create this fun little music video. The brief was to take some green screen footage of the band’s lead members and find a treatment/narrative that works with the ethos and feel of the song. I was recently asked to bring some still images to life with a bit of a 3D effect.
OK, strictly speaking, 2.5D. Here’s an example of a still image I’ve brought to life with some subtle 3D magic. Although there are innumerable tutorials out there on how to do this kind of thing, I might post some tricks on how to make it easier to set things up, if anyone’s interested.
