Went to see the Transformers movie not expecting too much, but it pretty much kicks arse! Yes, it’s corny and is just an excuse to see robots kicking mechanical crap out of eachother – but it does what it says on the tin. If you liked the Citroen C4 dancing robot advert, remember the original Transformers cartoon and can suspended just a little cynicism, you’ll love this!

Not related at all to Flash, but playing with my camera I was testing the macro function and tried to sneak up on this fly for an extreme close-up. You can even see the little hairs on its legs – yuk!
As you can see, I’ve started a blog. I’ve also started learning ActionScript 3.0 at last! So far I’ve come across some interesting points of note to anyone migrating from ActionScript 2.0 – but I’m a long way off being any kind of AS3 guru yet 
I’ll be posting stuff I learn about AS3 that you should know as I go… so stay tuned.
The London Flash Platform Users Group is running a meetup tonight about (among other things) connecting and controlling Flash with the Nintendo Wii controller – how cool is that? For those that can’t make it down to the Cosmo Bar in Barbican, they are apparently broadcasting the event here.
